I wrote Oceans 7 years ago after visiting the place that we now call home. It was the middle of winter and there was snow right up to the beach. My husband and I had so many hopes and dreams for our future- moving to a new beautiful safe state, having children of our own, etc. Little did we know that in order to get to where we wanted in life, we would have to dig through the hardships of our pasts and experience struggles that would help us to heal and grow individually and as a married couple. Now 7 years later, we have made a home in the place we visited so long ago, are in the process of building a family, and are so much closer to each other as husband and wife and lifelong soul mates.
